Marina Del Rey Spotlight: Stoa Wine Bar & Market

Every now and then, something new opens in the Marina that feels like it was made just for us locals—and Stoa Wine Bar & Market fits that bill perfectly. Located at 4210 Via Marina, Suite 10, it’s tucked just steps from the docks so you won’t even have to fire up the car to get there.

Adam and I stopped by shortly after their grand opening, and the place immediately hit that sweet spot between a European-style bodega and a cozy wine hideaway. Imagine rallying the family for a quick boat-side picnic with charcuterie essentials, then deciding to stay for one of their delicious pizzas—Soppressata, Mortadella & Pistachio, Funghi… the list goes on.

Here’s when to go:

  • Lunch: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. daily

  • Dinner: 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. nightly

  • Happy Hour: 4 – 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday

What I love most? It’s a gathering place. You can swing by after a sunset walk, meet a neighbor for a glass of wine, or grab provisions for the boat—all without leaving the Marina. It’s stylish without being stuffy, and refreshingly grounded in our community.
